The performance changes
PVC: color change after regeneration is more obvious, a regeneration after extrusion with light brown, three times is almost opaque brown, than the viscosity in the second time is unchanged, more than two times has a tendency to decline. Stabilizers should be added during regeneration of both rigid and flexible PVC. Mixed abs1%-3% can be added during regeneration to make the remanufactured products shiny.
PE: after regeneration, the properties of PE are reduced and the color turns yellow. After multiple extrusions, the viscosity of high-density polyethylene decreases and that of low-density polyethylene increases.
PP: in the first regeneration, the color is almost unchanged, the melt index rises, and the melt index still rises when the color increases more than twice. After regeneration, the fracture strength and elongation are decreased, but there is no problem in use.
PS: the color turns yellow after regeneration, so the regeneration of PS is generally for color difference. The degradation degree of the regenerated material's properties is directly proportional to the regeneration times. The fracture strength has no obvious change when the dosage is less than 60%, and the limit viscosity has no obvious change when the dosage is less than 40%.
ABS: the color changes significantly after regeneration, but the performance does not change significantly when the dosage is not more than 20-30%.
Nylon regeneration also has problems of discoloration and performance degradation. Regeneration elongation decreases, but elasticity increases.
